Alexis Carter possesses tremendous characteristics that qualify her as an outstanding member of the community. She is the enthusiastic and high-spirited esteemed counselor of high-risk girls and an high performance administrator of I AM Companion Home Care, LLC an agency that provides home care to the Hampton Roads community in their homes. She exhibits leadership qualities through her passion for her employees, dedication to her community and kind care given to her clients. Academically, Alexis has a proven body of knowledge by way of the illustrious Hampton University, where she obtained a B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in Community Agency Counseling. While earning her education, she worked in the field in which she serves. She spent several years in the nursing and senior care industry working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Case Manager until God opened the door for her to become the savvy business owner that she is today. Alexis is blessed to be the proud mother of 7 children, 5 boys and 2 girls which she thanks God for counting her worthy to steward. Alexis is a full time believer in the wondrous works of God through his son Jesus Christ. Her heart comes out of Ephesians 3:20 KJV which reads "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."
