Anwar Taylor

Anwar Taylor is a mentorship enthusiast and advocate. Born and raised in Willingboro, NJ, Anwar graduated from the University of Maryland-College Park, and went on to become a police officer for the Department of Defense. It was through the brotherhood of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and involvement business organizations that his passion for mentorship surfaced. Anwar believes that God has blessed him with the gift of connecting people through mentoring relationships. Anwar put his vision into action and launched Everyday Mentorship. His company is dedicated to helping individuals of all walks of life develop their own positive circle of influence. Anwar published an autobiographical book, Lessons from Old School: A Path Made of Mentors. In his book, Anwar recounts several key role models Anwar learned valuable life lessons from. Currently, Anwar and his wife Leah reside in the Washington DC area. In his free time, Anwar enjoys being physically active, and spending time with close friends and family. He is a leader in his church's youth ministry, and habitual prankster to his loving wife. Anwar's motto for life is that when you put God first in your life, you win every time.
