Deb Moses is Senior Director for Head Start and Early Head Start at CAPRW Head Start which encompasses all of the Head Start programming in Ramsey County/St Paul, MN. She is responsible to ensure that programs meet all performance standards and funding requirements while ensuring positive outcomes for the children and families served. Deb has 30 years of experience in the public sector both in community non-profits and government agencies. She has worked within low-income communities her entire career providing leadership in creating systems that allow individuals and families to reach their full potential. She also serves on the board of the Minnesota Head Start Association. In addition to her work experience she is a sought after consultant for grant writing, state license applications and licensing correction orders. Her consulting clients include Ramsey County and a variety of non-profit social service organizations. Deb graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Master’s in Public Health and is currently a Doctoral candidate at Hamline University in Public Administration. In addition she holds a Chemical Dependency Counseling Certificate and Advanced Credentials in Health Service Administration both from the University of Minnesota. She is a lifelong resident of the Twin Cities area currently residing in St. Paul, and a parent to three adult children and one grandson who is the joy of her life. She enjoys bike riding throughout the cities, downhill skiing, hot yoga, reading, fine dining and traveling.
